For sale, asking $200, $210 if shipped which includes insurance -- cost if purchased new $360. Please email me at cwadsworth AT gmail DOT com if interested.

- My slightly used and nearly new Palm TX. This includes everything that came in the box. Included: CD-ROM, HotSync USB cord, wall charger, Palm TX, stylus, screen cover that attaches and flips over to protect screen, all literature that came with the TX, and the static-cling screen cover that protects the screen from scratches. Comes in original box. Originally $299.

ALSO INCLUDED:
- never-opened Palm TX car charger (not an off-brand), orginally $30.

- translucent silicone case with wrist strap and translucent case for Bluetooth ear piece, originally $30. This has never been used though I did open it and I put it on the TX briefly to see what it looked like. Bluetooth earpiece cover and wrist strap have never been touched.. Originally $30.

This has Wifi and Bluetooth.

You can store pictures and music on the TX but I haven't played around with those features that much. It also has a handy calendar. The screen is 320x480 and it has an impressive 128MB of memory. You can open Microsoft Office files on the TX.

Can you easily make your old entries friends-only w/ the paid account?

http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=120&q=private

It says you can edit the settings of "multiple entries at once" but is that worth my $20? I want to go friends-only but I've had this since 2002! That's a lot of stuff.

Got the MacBook. Positively love it. I love that I can sit in my living room on the comfy couch, spread my papers out, and study. It's easier to study when I'm not up in my room. Now I need to learn all the ins and outs. My picture being attached to everything creeps me out. I can't figure out how to delete the iChat pictures I don't want. Ugh @ my stupid face.

Life in general is great. I'm enjoying what will likely be my last few months with this family. I may go with them if the mom gets a job, we'll see. It won't be anywhere in Ohio, though. It's so hard to think of my life without them. We've been a part of each other's lives for two years now and I've watched their children grow so much. It's a sad reality but reality nonetheless. Now that I'm in the final months I need to remember how lucky I am right now and how much I'll miss them when things get rough, like when the kids are having bad days. They may be bad days, but they are days with them and I must remember to appreciate them while I've still got them.

Kevin is good. We're waiting to see if he's accepted into the MHA program for next fall and whether or not he earns a scholarship. We've hit some rough patches lately but we've trucked through. We've realized some big differences we have but we've worked through them. I'm thankful that we're both on the same page with that. ("that" meaning the need to work through problems instead of deciding to cut and run)

I am taking two classes this quarter and WOW, they are a lot of work. Plus with my crazy schedule it's hard to find time to study when I'm not exhausted. My hat goes off to moms who go back to school, I really don't know how you do it.

Jan. 22nd, 2008 @ 10:03 pm PLEASE GO TO THIS SITE AND VOTE FOR ADEROUCH!!!!
Please vote for my friend!  She stands to win $50,000 to help start her business.  The contest is currently neck and neck.  You can vote daily through January 31st.  This will take mere minutes from your day but will make a world of difference for someone's family!  She's planning on opening a restaurant with kid-friendly but HEALTHY food and fun play areas.  Kind of like a fast food restaurant playplace but with better food and more stimulating/cleaner play areas.  This restaurant will open right here in Columbus and YOU can help make it happen.  This message is from her:

Details soon, I have to get the girls in the bath......who's taken the GRE?  How long is it, what is the scoring like, how hard did you find it?  I just found out I have to take it so I think I'm going to take it in December.  Is that enough time to prepare?  Or should I bump it to January?

I have $2700 in debt left!  I had around $6,000 when I started this job.  I feel SO MUCH LIGHTER.  I'm dumping all cash payments I recieve straight into that account plus $1k every month.  I have November and December's payments yet and then I'll probably have less then $500 left on the last payment if I keep dumping all my cash from babysitting into that.  YAHOOOOOOOOOO!  Then of course I'll start piling on the debt next fall if I get into nursing school, but it will be worth it since I'll have a job lined up when I graduate!

Say it with me now:  LAWWWWWWWWWWWL

Last weekend Kevin and I went to his friend's wedding in Toledo.  As we were sitting in the church waiting for everything to start, he said "You're probably in wife and mom mode aren't you....I mean, the kids and now a wedding...."  I reassured him that NOPE, I'm not.  BELIEVE IT OR NOT.  I'm in no rush for either.  I'm very happy where I am now.  :-)

Jun. 1st, 2007 @ 09:35 pm Adventures in nannyland
So I'm nerding right now and I hear my door rattle slightly and some slight tapping.  Someone is definitely out there doing something sneaky.  I tiptoe to the door and bend down as I open it because I KNOW there's a small child on the other side.  I find Kate laying on her belly (she likes to peek under my door.  "What do you see?"  "Nothing") and holding her toothbrush up at me.  She says, "Cassandra, the toothpaste won't come out" with a sheepish smile.  So I helped her and tried not to crack up.

I wish everyone could see what I see and have experiences like the ones I have here.  I wish everyone could open their door to have a little girl with a big smile on the other end who needs help getting the toothpaste out.  Tonight as I was cleaning up the kitchen Matthew started crying up in his crib.  Gillian was reading to Kate so I scooted up to try and soothe him and get him back to sleep.  I picked him up and he stopped crying immediately.  (he's all snotty from a cold)  After a minute or so he fell asleep on my shoulder.  I wish more people could look at their shoulder and see a sweet baby peacefully zonked out on it.  I looked at his smooth, perfect skin and his long, wispy eyelashes.  His little cheek was smushed against my shoulder.  I felt nothing but pure happiness and calmness.  I really do look forward to the mom thing.

This is going to be a great year.

May. 27th, 2007 @ 12:51 am So last night
We had the big talk.  You know, the BIG talk about how we would raise kids, healthcare, how we would spend money on buying cars and buying a house, how we would take care of our parents, how we would invest and save, religion, family vacations, schooling for kids, how we would deal with a gay kid or a kid w/ a gender identity issue.  All sorts of questions you should throw out on the table before you get married.  We've had versions of the talk before but nothing that covered so many issues.  It went really well.  The end.

Apparently the downside to Jerry Falwell kicking the bucket is having to see all the headlines/briefs fellating the crap out of him. John McCain even said, "Dr. Falwell was a man of distinguished accomplishment who devoted his life to serving his faith and country."  Go fuck yourself, you fucking tosser.
